Site Engineer

Key Responsibilities • Update equipment & material delivery trackers • Ensure Health & Safety file is in order and up to date • Carry out site inductions and ensure operatives have read and signed RAMS • Carry out toolbox talks • Issue permits to operatives as required • Update progress trackers • Liaise with & assist the project manager as required • Assist the supervisors with the QA procedures • Complete site inspections to maintain tidiness and produce report on issues found • Review and update tools & equipment register • Issue hot works, ladder, confined working permits as required and make sure operatives are following procedure Person Specification Qualification • HNC in building services engineering or related subject Experience & Knowledge • 1-2 years in a similar position with an electrical contractor Abilities & Skills • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written and ability to deal with clients & internal staff • Good computer software skills required (particularly, Microsoft Excel & Outlook) • Can deliver high quality work with excellent attention to detail • To be flexible and work as part of a team • Able to work under pressure and meet short deadlines. • Must be very ‘hands on’ with can do attitude Apply
